| 500 | |a "Inspiration was drawn from systems and structures in physical and natural enviornments. Some of the grids come from Grid Index, by Carsten Nicolai. Others are handmade or from the landscape. A few were contributions from Romy Finke. "Print matrixes include polymer plates, wood type, laser-cut woodblock, and stencils for printing on a Universal 1 Letterpress. Shina woodblocks and paper stencils were laser-cut by Dylan Diloretto. Risograph printing was done in two locations. Tricia printed on a SFS450 in New Hampshire. Half the book was printed during a workweek in collaboration with Paul John at the Jan van Eyck Academie In Maastricht, Netherlands, on A3 and A2 Risograph machines in February 2022. Papers in this book are Biotop 80g, Colorplan 135g, Glassine 41g, Goyu 50g, IBO One 60g, Lettra 120g, Masa 77g, and Munken Lynx 80g. Risograph colors printed in this book include black, blue, bubblegum, charcoal, cornflower, federal blue, fluorescent green, fluorescent pink, fluorescent red, fluorescent yellow, green, lime, light gray, whitre, and yellow. The binding was designed and executed by John DeMerrit Bookbinding in an edition of 22. The book cloth was made from Irish linen printed fabric, and the covers are foil stamped."--Colophon | ||
