| 520 | |a The collection mainly contains manuscripts and draft texts written by Wolfgang Schwarz (1926–2011) for his unfinished biographical study about Hermann Rorschach. Noteworthy are the detailed notes and protocols of interviews he conducted in Switzerland with people, who had known Hermann Rorschach personally. The collection also includes a large collection of letters. Most of them are copies form the Rorschach Archives. Wolfgang Schwarz translated many of them into English. Part of the fond is also a large collection of photographic material collected by Wolfgang Schwarz to illustrate his book. A part of the pictures are probably copies from originals kept in the Rorschach Archives. There is little biographical material about Schwarz and only some notes on his journeys to Switzerland in the 1960s. Besides the documents about Hermann Rorschach, the fond includes a collection of 168 test protocols, taken from school children around 1912 by Hans Behn-Eschenburg (1864–1838). Before the collection was handed over to the Rorschach Archives in 2017, Damion Searls could use the material, with permission of Wolfgang Schwarz’ widow, for his book project about Hermann Rorschach and his iconic test. | ||
