In addition to his architectural practice, he has created an impressive number of drawings which oscillate between personal artistic expression and urban, architectural fantasies, and have been on public display in numerous international exhibitions. In 2009, he founded the Tchoban Foundation to provide a home for his first-class collection of architectural drawings that covers several centuries. In 2013, the Foundation opened the Museum for Architectural Drawing in Berlin.
