swisscollections was developed as a meta catalog for historical and modern collections in Swiss libraries and archives. The meta catalog brings together data from different institutions and different databases. A list of the partner institutions can be found here.

Access and Usage Terms

The data presented in swisscollections can be used according to the guidelines specified in the respective dataset. If no usage policy is provided in a dataset, the metadata is considered to be in the public domain. For digital copies, the usage terms of the respective platforms apply; see also e-rara, e-manuscripta and e-codices.
